Subnautica 2 xbox7/14/2023 ![]() ![]() Nope, these morons took one of the best games of the last 20 years and ruined it.Below Zero is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean world. I was so shocked by how bad it was, I thought I was looking at the original through rose-colored glasses, so I went back and replayed it. As for all the other mistakes, trudging around on land (huh?) for hours in blinding snow, playing stupid mini games with a remote controlled robot penguin, spoon fed game progression, truly awful sound effects, pathetic attempts to be cute, down to to an alien that broadcasts an distress signal in Morse code (no really, they did that). Forget about the subtle humor of the original, think what really stupid people say to each other in real life and now you know what you're in for. The dialog is so cheesy and moronic it will make you wince. you can't travel 10 metres without finding something significant. Lets make the sandbox so small its not a sandbox anymore. Lets replace the mystery of the original with a banal nonsensical story about shallow characters and the **** things they say about each other. So all the mediocre ideas come gushing out, like "how about voicing the Emergency PDA with someone who speaks English as a second language?' and 'lets make the main protagonist say things like "this could come in handy" when picking up a rock!'. The original talent left/went on holiday/got sacked and got replaced by the usual mediocre culprits. The original was so good, and all the base code was all ready there, so how did they screw it up so badly? Simple. Survival in the first part was not an obstacle, but due to the fact that it was the first experience of overcoming obstacles that added interest to the game. Well, what else let down is the lack of additional complexity for those who played the first part and already understands how to quickly find resources, drink and feed themselves. I liked the first part very much, I bought the second one, but the desire to play it is absent after what I saw. The most boring winter top (I don't want to float). In the second part, the character's strange motivation, there is no longer a desire to survive, you have to motivate yourself by the fact that you need to find a sister, girlfriend or someone there, and this is difficult. All this gave an incentive to explore the map, where parallel landscapes that admired. In the first part, there was a feeling that I was not on my own on the planet, and I need to get out by any means, or at least find someone else who survived, such a plot is easy to believe and easy to penetrate. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.Ĥ/10 A stripped-down version of the first part, which is lost in music, atmosphere, oddly enough plot. I'd think of it more like an expansion though. It's fine but could have been done a lot better. That being said the core gameplay is still good, so 6/10 for me. ![]() I just didn't feel anything this time around, the epicness of the soundtrack of the 1st was missing, the sheer horror from the unknown was missing (because everything was re-used there is no "unknown"), the stories didn't get tied up but are rather left to interpretation. Overall I enjoyed the core gameplay loop that was already established and proven to work in Subnautica. Seatruck is a **** seamoth that gets stuck everywhere. Caves are much smaller and you constantly bump into things. ![]() You have the same enemies with the same AI, doing the same thing, except they are reskinned. I couldn't connect with the MC at all and unfortunately their decision to move from a neutral character that the player feels represents himself to a predetermined character meant I didn't experience any horror at all this time around. The story and music was weaker in my opinion, despite them adding a meetable NPC and voice acting. Most of the content is above 400meters with minor exceptions in the endgame. Size wise it's also much smaller than the base game / first game. Too little changes for me unforunately, I would have loved to see totally new enemies, totally new fish, new items to craft! Oh well. Flora and Fauna is pretty much the same except altered to be the "ice-version". Mechanically, it's pretty much the same as Subnautica, with very minor alterations. Mechanically, it's pretty much the same as Subnautica, with very This felt much more like an expansion/addon rather than a standalone-game. Asheville nc log cabin motor court7/14/2023 ![]() For a true taste of Americana, you may prefer the classic 1930s Log Cabin Motor Court (330 Weaverville Hwy., 828/645-6546, $94 and up), off the I-26 freeway six miles north of Asheville. The usual chain hotels cluster along the interstates, and some more characterful, older, neon-signed motels line old US-70 between downtown and the Blue Ridge Parkway. North of downtown, near the UNC-Asheville campus, good microbrews and $3 evening movies are available at Asheville Pizza and Brewing Co. The Orange Peel (101 Biltmore Ave., 828/398-1837) gets an enviable array of nationally known musicians in all genres (from Bob Dylan to the Flaming Lips), while the Fine Arts Theatre (36 Biltmore Ave., 828/232-1536, $10 adults) up the street shows the latest art-house releases. Try the nice outdoor dining area at Tupelo Honey Café (12 College St., 828/255-4863). There are more good places around the magical, art deco-era Grove shopping arcade west of the square, and yet more cafés and bakeries line Biltmore Avenue south of Pack Square, where you’ll also find Asheville’s best nightlife. The streets around Pack Square hold many good places to eat. This is where Thomas Wolfe’s father ran a stonecutting shop, on whose porch stood the homeward-gazing angel, now recalled by a statue standing on the square’s southwest corner. Two blocks or so south of the Wolfe memorial, where Broadway becomes Biltmore Avenue, Pack Square Park is the center of Asheville, surrounded by the county courthouse, the city hall, a small art museum, and the public library. An adjacent museum tells more of his story. After Wolfe’s death from tubercular meningitis in 1938, the house was made into a shrine to Wolfe by his family, who arranged it to look as it did during his youth one room contains his desk, typewriter, and other mementos of his life and work. In the details and, more importantly, in general ambience, it’s identical to the vivid prose descriptions of the house he called “Dixieland,” the primary setting of his first and greatest novel, Look Homeward, Angel. Unfortunately, the house suffered a major fire in 1998, but after restoration it is still one of the most evocative of all American literary sites. The rambling house across from the beige modern Radisson Hotel is officially known as the Thomas Wolfe Memorial State Historic Site (52 N. One truly worthwhile place to see in downtown Asheville is the nondescript old boardinghouse where author Thomas Wolfe grew up from 1900 to 1920, preserved as it was when Wolfe lived here. The rest of Asheville can’t compete with the nouveau riche excess of the Biltmore Estate, and, in fact, it’s a surprisingly homespun city, with a downtown commercial district filled with 1930s-era storefronts housing thrift stores and offbeat art galleries. It’s a true “model village,” designed in Gothic style by Richard Morris Hunt. Signs aplenty direct you to the estate, which stands just north of the I-40 exit 50 off Biltmore Avenue, across from the shops and restaurants in Historic Biltmore Village, which originally housed the estate’s staff and workshops. The 250 rooms hold everything from a palm court to Napoleon’s chess set to paintings by Renoir, Sargent, Whistler, and others. Surrounded by a series of flower gardens planned in part by Frederick Law Olmsted, the estate centers on a truly unbelievable French Renaissance-style mansion built in 1895. The estate now covers 8,000 acres on the south side of town, though at the turn of the 20th century it covered 125,000 acres, stretching all the way up to today’s Blue Ridge Parkway. The presence here of the world’s biggest vacation house, the Vanderbilt family’s Biltmore Estate (800/411-3812, daily, $69 and up summer), is proof of Asheville’s primary position in the old-school resort pantheon. When summer heat and humidity became unbearable, the gentry headed here to stay cool while enjoying the city’s many grand hotels and elaborate summer homes. 92,452) was to the pre-jet set, pre-air-conditioned Deep South. ![]() What the English country town of Bath was to Jane Austen’s 18th-century London, the mountain resort of Asheville (pop. ![]()

Musescore7/14/2023 ![]() One thing that sets Boomy a part is that it helps users release songs and albums to streaming services and social media. Next, users can customize their songs further by rewriting the tempo and density, adding instruments and sound effects, editing the mix, editing the arrangement and either recording vocals or uploading them to the software (both of these must only belong to the user). If users chose a preselected style, they must then pick a subgenre of the style to use in their song. They can even customize their song by creating an original composition style, instruments, tempo, sound effects and mixing style. To create a song on Boomy, users must pick from a selection of styles like lo-fi, rap beats, and global groove. The company has partnered with artists and producers like Kennedi, Feyi and Ye Ali to show how professionals use their technology in a Youtube series called Soundful Collabs. This plan includes custom templates, custom licensing terms, the ability to monetize templates on Soundful and the ability to use content on TV, TV ads, commercial streaming and video on demand. The third plan is tailored to provide individual licensing needs to organizations, so the price is set via a consultation. Under this plan, users have unlimited track downloads, five stem downloads a month, coverage for online platforms, websites and social media, the ability to publish the content for businesses and the ability to use tracks for digital ads. The second subscription is covered for commercial use and is $9.99 a month or $7.99 a month with a yearly subscription. They’re typically broken down into four files: melody, bass, drums and instruments. Stems are a type of audio file that breaks a track down into separate mixes, allowing the creator more creative freedom. Users are given over 50 templates, 10 downloads a month, unlimited track creation, unlimited personal use on social media, though only one channel per platform is allowed, and one stem download a month. Soundful offers three subscription options: the first is free and only intended for personal use. There’s also a section called Global Tracks where users can view songs from different moods, genres and even ones inspired by artists like A$AP Rocky, 808 Mafia and A Tribe Called Quest. Once saved, the song is added to “My Library,” where users have the option to download it. ![]() Next, users pick a “template” (which are subgenres), the speed of the song, the key signature and a track name. On the site, users pick which genre of music they want their songs to fall under, like rap, R&B and Latin. Soundful markets itself to producers, creators and brands, offering “affordable” music, royalty-free tracks and a solution to creative drought. With this plan, users can make songs up to five minutes and 30 seconds long, download 300 songs a month, they don’t have to credit AIVA, and the users own the copyright and can fully monetize their songs. The third plan costs 49 euros a month ($54.03). The second subscription costs 15 euros a month (around $16.54), and it allows 15 free downloads a month, durations up to five minutes and users don’t have to credit AIVA, but the copyright is still owned by AIVA and users can only monetize on social platforms like Twitch, TikTok and Youtube. ![]() The guidelines also state nothing uploaded “shall infringe upon the rights of any third party.” AIVA offers three types of subscriptions: the first is free, and includes three free downloads a month and durations up to three minutes, but credit must be given to the website, the user doesn’t own the copyright and it cannot be monetized. The last option is to upload an “influence.” In AIVA’s guidelines, it’s recommended that users pick influences from Musescore, a place to create sheet music. For this selection, users pick an emotion they want displayed through the song, the duration and the number of compositions, and the AI creates the song. ![]() These range from jazz, orchestral and pop to alternative, heavy rock and trap. The third way is by picking an option under preset styles. This is the second way users can create music, by using songs in the profiles library as a starting point and adding their own spin to it. Once these are chosen, the software will create a custom composition, and the generation can be uploaded to the public profiles library. When creating a new generation, users customize their song by picking out their own time signature, key signature, tempo range, emotion, duration, types of instruments used and harmonic repetition. The first is called the generation profile, where users can create their own original compositions, or generations, from scratch. Aiva has several different features users can use to create music. ![]()

Escape room 2019 synopsis7/14/2023 ![]() ![]() Maybe this subject, which was totally left out of the official version that came to theaters, will gain more layers with Fuhrman soon. ![]() Oh, and one more thing: in the United States, Sony Pictures released a version with additional scenes and an alternate ending involving a character played by Isabelle Fuhrman, the girl from 'Orphan', which shows details of the company that controls the games. But it will entertain you, especially if you watch it with friends or in a group. It won't change your life and it will hardly become a beloved movie in your memory - after all, director Adam Robitel, the same as the first movie, just does the basics. It repeats the good fun of the first movie, albeit with too simplistic effects, and gives continuity to this escapist adventure that doesn't seem to have an expiration date anytime soon. Near the end we all expected some kind of plot twist where we would go "aha!" where we would understand the reason why this film even was added to Netflix but this revelation did not come.Adam Robitel 2021 Movies about groups of people who must survive deadly games have become a kind of subgenre in Hollywood - in addition to the Jigsaw movie saga, there's also the disturbing 'Cube' or even the Spanish 'The Well'. During the film almost everything was predictable, the acting was bad, the music was RANDOM and really added nothing at all but rather distracted from what the characters were doing and the nudity really also had no real benefit to the film.
